Fall 2010 Bible Studies for Women

We're very happy to provide many Bible studies specifically for women of all ages. It's our hope that you would be able to find one that's a great fit and will allow you to come to know God better and grow in your relationship with Him.

Below is a list of studies that we will be providing this Fall. We've organized them by the day and time they will be meeting so you can choose one that will fit best into your schedule.

Tuesday Mornings
Stepping Up: Psalms of Ascent (a Beth Moore study)
10-11:30 am, starting September 7th – for women 50+
This study explores Psalms 120-134. Traveling pilgrims sang these psalms both on the way to the great festivals of the Jews and as key elements of the worship of those festivals. You will gain a new appreciation for the life of faith as a journey to greater fellowship with and worship of God.

Tuesday Evenings
Prayer: An Adventure with God by David Healey
7-8:30 pm, meets every other Tuesday starting September 7th
We pray for our own needs and for the needs of others. We pray in the face of conflict, and we pray for forgiveness. And we can learn how to pray by praying and being prayed for by others. In this study we'll learn from biblical examples, such as Mary, Abraham, Moses and Daniel, gaining new insights and experiences in the adventure of prayer.

This is an in-depth Bible study of David which will make you laugh and cry as you find a David that will delight and disappoint you. At times David will make you want to be just like him and then nothing like him at other times. And God is sure to change your heart…if you let Him.
